Culture doesn't change the gospel, but it can impact the effectiveness of different approaches.
For example, people in New England want to be approached in a way that is drastically different from other parts of the country. So our evangelism efforts have evolved to take this into account. We learned to take the Yankee mindset into consideration and adjust accordingly.
Being outsiders meant we had the opportunity to assess the need here with fresh eyes before jumping in haphazardly with some one-size-fits-all method.

Our Goal

Many have come into the area thinking, "I know what these people need." The results are usually somewhat devastating, because in truth they don't. What this area needs are people who first observe what is needed, and then get to work without the need for pomp and ceremony.
